Waterwatch is a national community water quality monitoring program with links on the Gold Coast. Gold Coast Waterwatch aims to increase knowledge and encourage community involvement in catchment care.

Gold Coast Waterwatch, with the help of community groups, schools and Gold Coast City Council, monitors physical, chemical and biological indicators from our creeks and rivers. The data that is gathered provides a valuable insight into the health of the Gold Coast's most precious resource - the natural beauty and function of our waterways.

To learn more about the broader Waterwatch program see either the Queensland State or Federal Waterwatch sites. To find out more about being involved in Waterwatch here on the Gold Coast, see the contacts page or the Gold Coast Waterwatch page of this site.
